PRACTICED CANCELLED WED 25TH JAN  and SATURDAY 28TH .

Firstly many thanks to all those who attended the working bee on Saturday the14th. Due to your efforts only one more major working bee is required and that will be on Jan 28th details below.

In brief as mentioned earlier the Club needs to achieve noise compliance on all bikes that use the facility for either practice or race days.

All members need to ensure they get their bike or bikes tested to ensure they meet the noise criteria set and this will be available to the Club and members starting next week. Once your bike has been tested and passed it will be logged and then you’ll be able to carry on practicing that day and continue to practice on all allocated practice days and the upcoming Race Days. The Club’s target is to get a minimum of 60 bikes tested and passed by the end of Feb with a minimum of 6 bikes in each category then once these categories are signed off by Council the Club then will be able to set the dates for all Club days in 2012. As mentioned the Db # ( noise criteria ) will be available to the Club mid January along with the new state of the art noise metre ( supplied by Council ) we’ll be able to test your bikes to see if they meet the noise criteria, so take note of the testing times listed below.

The Club is starting over again so income is important to its survival and there will be fee’s for members with testing & Practice even though practice may sometimes be limited due to testing of bikes.

.This week I have top soil arriving to level the front courtesy of a local contractor also hope to have the bitumen driveway repaired ( Council to pay )  and the new CCTV camera’s installed a requirement under our licence.

So get your bikes ready and bring them on down to be tested.
